I have tested this when my hair is both curly and straight, before blow drying, and it prevents frizz and leaves your hair shiny and smelling great. I don't know enough about hair products to comment on the ingredients, but this product works just as well as the big brands I have tried so I have no reason to doubt the quality of the ingredients. I am happy with this product and would recommend it to others.
